Do you ever wonder why people feel like they've known somoene before, but in reality never have?
Have you ever wondered why you have a sense of dejavu at places or moments you've never been in before?
Ever wonder why your fasinated by something more than other's are. You could even be intrigued by a certain era, like the 1950's. You could be so intrigued by the Civil War, Theater, or another country you've never been to. You could even feel a connection to a legend who's been dead for centuries before you. Maybe you have been there before....just not in this life.
The idea of soul mates is also interesting. How one person could be the right one? That love at first sight is an indication you have found your soul mate. But it rarely happens.
Only one theory could explain all of this and that's reincarnation. I'm a baptist born and raised girl from Georgia. I went to college in Mississippi where I was part of the Baptist Union. But I've always had an open mind. I'm not saying I believe solely in reincarnation. I'm saying it makes sense. I believe in God and always will. But the world is a mystery. My thoughts are that there is a God but sometimes he allows certain souls to live more than one life. In fact, there's no way you could learn all your lessons in one life anyway. Some people don't live long at all. I believe we're on this earth soley to learn and develop relationships with other souls along the way. If we were with our one SOUL MATE (which is a heavenly connection) it would defeat the purpose of growing. Just like staying attached to your parent's at social events, you'd never meet anyone new.
My idea is that we are one with out "twin soul" in heaven. We come down to earth to experience many lives on our own as either male or female.... half of the soul. Like ying and yang. Similiar to the bible's story of Adam and Eve...they split. Eve came from Adam. That explains how we came about physically came. Our spirits did the same.
I believe we may live many lifes before we find our true purpose on this earth. Maybe it's to become a scientist and create a cure for humaity. Anyway we have to learn to be indepdenent and create relationships with out souls. We are becoming stronger individually, so we can reunite with our twin soul and become more evolved. But since it's such an intense, strong spiritually connection it only comes about when we're ready...some say in our final lifetime on earth.
The twin soul and reincarntion theory is controversial. But the reincarnation theory explains the soul mate theory. They both explain a lot. There are even stories of children believing a past life. I'm not saying anyone should believe it. But to me it makes sense. I've undergone a spiritual awakening. It's something I went through in college. I began thinking a lot and reseraching how a connection I made with someone was possible. I found the twin soul theory and all the signs lined up with what was going on. I came to the conclusion, life is more than just working a 9-5 job to get by, getting married to someone who you are merely compatible with, and having children. Then maybe grandchildren and that's it. That part of life is beautiful but life's more than just that. Life is finding out the talent God gave you. To dream big and actually strive to achieve your goals. To make a difference in the world and believe you can do anything you want.
To find your soul mate is something that only comes when you're ready and not looking. Everyone wants to find their perfect mate, it's engraved in us. If we were here just to reproduce we'd fall for the next person who was the opposite sex. But no....we are picky. We have taste (physical attraction, style, economic status, etc.) and chemistry is a big thing. We long to find someone that's so much like us, who completes our sentences, and who knows us more than we know ourselves. We are subconsiously missing our twin soul. The longing to be in a relationships is us missing our other half. We are lonely because we are learning to be a complete soul...as a female or male. Literally the other sex completes us...sex is a physical bliss, symbol of becoming one again. Twin soul theory makes a lot of sense. But why don't we always meet them? Well why don't we see God? Sure, we have other soul mates but your twin soul is the other half of you. Rarely do we ever experience such a connection that's made for heaven.
We're smart creatures, the smartest ones on earth.We have brains to think deeply about our existance. God gives us intuition, his way to guide us through life. I'm not saying this is what everyone should believe. I'm not saying it's what I believe. I'm saying it's food for thought. :)
